For Schools

At Little Roots, we partner with early learning centers and schools to bring creative movement directly to the classroom. Our goal is to make it effortless for educators to provide children with enriching, developmentally supportive movement experiences—without needing to source materials, music, or lesson plans themselves

What We Provide

We handle everything: props, music, and curriculum are all included. Each session blends imagination, play, and guided movement to support spatial awareness, coordination, and emotional regulation.

Classes run 25–30 minutes each, and we can teach up to six classes per visit depending on the school’s schedule. The only thing the center provides is a safe space large enough for movement.

We know every group of children is different, so we adjust the energy, pace, and activities to suit each classroom. If your school has an existing theme or curriculum you’d like us to build on, we’re happy to weave that into our lessons. If not, we bring our own thoughtfully designed curriculum each month.

Teacher Support & Classroom Flow

Our classes are active and joyful, and young children thrive best when familiar teachers help set the tone. We ask that classroom staff remain present to help with gentle redirection when needed—especially for little ones still learning their “listening ears.”

Sometimes, a child may need a quiet moment to reset before rejoining. We encourage teachers to offer an alternate calming activity, like reading a book, to help children regulate and return when they’re ready. This helps maintain a supportive, inclusive environment for everyone.

Scheduling & Payment

Classes are billed on a per-class rate, with payment due at the beginning of each month for the number of sessions your school books. We’ll work together to set a consistent weekly schedule that fits smoothly within your existing routine.

What a Typical Class Looks Like

  • Quick warm-up and welcome song

  • Movement games that build focus, balance, and coordination

  • Themed creative play (stories, animal movement, or seasonal adventures)

  • Prop-based activities with scarves, bubbles, or ribbons

  • Gentle cool-down with stretching or music

Each class is designed to nurture confidence, creativity, and cooperation—helping children connect mind, body, and imagination.
